I love vintage clothes. I first became interested in vintage clothes 8 years ago when I found a beautiful lace strapless dress for $20. I was taken by it for two reasons. First of all, it would be extremely difficult to find anything like it in a retail store. It was beautiful, unique and elegant. Second, if I did find something like it in a retail store, it would cost no less than $100.

Since then I have acquired an extensive selection of vintage dresses. When I began to run out of room in our house my husband suggested I start to sell my collection. I agreed and that is how Niki's Classic Closet was born. For the most part, everything I buy with the intention to resell, I love. I figure if I love it then so will other people. I am a big softy for buttons. A coat can be a boring black, but if it has large unique buttons then I will grab it up.
